Joa:
Peignoir, although an obvious choice for romantic bedrooms, is actually perfect for any contemporary living space if you want to be right on trend. It has an unsurpassed softness in evening light, creating a room which is both warm and intriguing. It is also the perfect update for a room painted in any of the warmer neutrals.
It was created by adding a subtle dose of black, which means that its mysterious tone appears pink to some, and grey to others; certainly proving that pink is not just for girls. If used in isolation its dusty quality makes it feel as if it has been in a room forever, but when contrasted with Wevet or All White it creates a sharper more upbeat space.
Charlotte:
Peignoir is my favourite new colour, it has just the right amount of grey to stop it becoming too girly. It would look fantastic in a kitchen, particularly one with marble surfaces.
How to use it...

Joa:
Peignoir feels fabulously old fashioned and creates beautifully humble rooms. It can be used with Skimming Stone on the woodwork for a very subtle tone-on-tone look, or with All White for a slightly fresher, lilac feel. For those looking for a slightly bolder feel, it is also great when combined with deep shades such as Brinjal or Charleston Gray.

I am currently obsessed with this colour. We've paired it with Worsted on Tessella, one of the updated colourways of our existing wallpapers. I'm keen to use it at home as soon as I can. I am planning on using Tessella on the walls, Worsted on the woodwork and floor and Peignoir on the ceiling.
