Lucinda Chambers, former Style Director at Vogue and co-founder of the fashion and lifestyle brand Collagerie has a good eye. Through her website Collagerie, she curates beautiful clothing, homeware and art to suit a range of budgets, that all have an element of timeless and joy in common. It is thanks to her natural instinct for stylish and interesting things that so many brands are lining up to collaborate with her – the latest being John Lewis, which has just launched a collection of lighting, tableware, wallpaper, bedlinen, cushions and nightwear designed by Lucinda.

It is natural, therefore, that we would want to know where Lucinda finds her inspiration. Lucky for us, she agreed to take part in our new series, and has shared with us the instagram posts she has saved – chosen for their unusual colour combinations, the memories they evoke, or simply, the ‘vibe’.

This is one of the best Instagram accounts for colour, objects and inspiration. I never know what will be next but it’s always a delight.

I am a friend and a fan of Tanya Ling and have always coveted her most beautiful line paintings.

This is one of the artists in Collagerie’s Art Shop, I love them for their bold unapologetic brilliance of colour and shape.

This picture pops up on my feed quite a lot and holds many happy memories for me as I worked with Josh on this shoot in Scotland for US Vogue. It’s such a great shot.

Marrakesh Brooklyn has a wonderful Instagram, it’s always about the ‘vibe’ and he gets it so right, always cool, with such a great spirit.

I’m always drawn to a plant picture and Bruno photographs them in such a modern and unusual way.

This is from a presentation we did in Milan with Molly and the girls painting on MDF, abstract shapes that we then stuck all the clothes on to! Loved it.

I have known Mary for many years and quite recently she started to make these incredible collages out of scraps of colour. They are beautiful and atmospheric.

This is a picture from Colville’s SS24 collection, I love the dynamic of the two girls and being caught just at the right moment.

Cecilia is one of my favourite artists, her colour sense is brilliant and she is always experimental and so very exciting.

I recently came across Patrick de Glodebesses and fell in love with his spare chairs, his colour sense is wonderful and I love the lack of any detail to his work, it’s all about the simplicity, elegance and then colour combinations.

I am lucky enough to work with Worm and they are true artists! As well as being the nicest of people to work with. They turn flowers into art effortlessly.

Peter Copping’s Instagram account is beautiful, full of strange and perfect details, drawing the eye into the unexpected.

Tildegrynnerup is an artist new to me but I was instantly drawn to her shapes and colours, spare and bold.
