Evie Delaney head shot - House & Garden

Evie Delaney

Digital Associate

Evie joined the House & Garden digital team in 2024, with an eclectic background as a comedian, artist and, briefly, bingo caller. She refined her interest in design, culture and food during periods freelancing for Inigo House and Tatler, where she particularly enjoyed interviews and exploring unusual, beautiful houses. In her role at House & Garden, she writes on an array of things like design trends, house stories and news. She is also leading the restaurant reviews for the website and is delighted to eat at some of the UK's most exciting hotspots.

Evie received a first class degree from Cambridge in English, Drama and Education. She was also a member of the Cambridge Footlights, which honed her ability for witty writing in a fast-paced environment.

Suffering from chronic illness, Evie is particularly interested in the importance of design for mental and physical health. Her spare time is spent making collages, cooking for friends, swimming at the lido, volunteering at the Hackney Foodbank and watching Gilmore Girls.
