2024 was brimming with lively, thought-provoking events. From a trip to Paris in January to The List 2025 directory party at Petersham Nurseries in November, The List's event programme had something for everyone. Here is a roundup of everything our members enjoyed this year…
Maison et Objet
We started the year off in style with a trip to Paris to attend the January edition of Maison et Objet. Our members were treated to breakfast, in Maison's very chic VIP tent, and then went on a private guided tour where they were shown the very best the show had to offer.
Design Centre Chelsea Harbour
With a curated programme of tours, our members were able to explore some of the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour's tentpole events and find inspiration for their next project. From Design Week in March to Wow!House in June, each event ended with a lovely breakfast from Social Pantry at The List's branded Cafe, the perfect way to network.
Cromwell Place
We had the pleasure of hosting an array of events with Cromwell Place, a row of Grade II Listed townhouses in South Kensington that boasts a year-round programme of diverse, interdisciplinary exhibitions. This year, events included a couple that were hosted in conjunction with London Craft Week and London Design Festival's London Brompton Design District.
Blithfield x Butter Wakefield
Blithfield teamed up with garden designer Butter Wakefield to host a morning of tablescaping and flower arranging for our members at Blithfield's lovely showroom in Kensington. Featuring a plethora of Blithfield's fabrics and Wicklewood's home accessories, Butter shared her tips on how to perfectly style a table.
Nicola Harding
Nicola Harding hosted a lovely morning of networking and a sit-down brunch at her new studio in Queens Park. Our guests were able to view products from Nicola's homeware collection, NiX By Nicola Harding and learn more about her design process.
Chelsea Barracks
During the Chelsea Barracks Spring Fair, The Campaner restaurant opened its doors to members of The List for an afternoon of “speed dating” with House & Garden readers. It was a great opportunity for readers to receive professional design advice on how to solve their most puzzling design problems.
Merchant & Found
In May Merchant & Found, in association with Vinterior and London Craft Week, hosted an exclusive preview of their pop-up vintage shopping event in Soho for our members. The event featured hundreds of original vintage furniture, lighting and supermarket treasures as well as specially commissioned craft installations.
Carpe Diem
Carpe Diem Beds welcomed our members to their showroom for an insightful talk about the importance of sleep and the benefits to ones health and wellbeing with their in-house sleep expert. Champagne and oysters were served throughout the event.
Sub-Zero & Wolf
Sub-Zero & Wolf hosted an evening of fizz, cocktails and canapés at their flagship showroom in Knightsbridge, where our members were treated to a live cooking demo by the brands' executive chef. It was a great opportunity to see their products in action and taste a variety of dishes.
Occhio
Occhio Lighting along with editor of House & Garden Hatta Byng hosted an illuminating evening of cocktails and canapés at their showroom. With Occhio's Director of Lighting Design Helen Neumann, our members explored holistic lighting solutions.
Rose Uniacke
In September, Rose Uniacke celebrated the expansion of her paint collection with a breakfast for our members at her beautiful showroom in Chelsea. To give us more insight into the range, Rose then spoke with House & Garden's deputy editor David Nichols about the collection.
Bonhams
Bonhams hosted a breakfast for our members where they explored a curated selection of fine decorative objects from The Classics auctions. From Antiquities to Old Master Paintings, Bonhams Specialists showcased highlights from the auctions, offering inspiration for creating interiors that balance beauty, character and history.
Petersham Nurseries
We welcomed the start of the holiday season and the publishing of The List's 2025 printed directory with our annual party at Petersham Nurseries. While sipping on a glass of Villa René Lalique Brut Champagne, our guests perused a variety of festive home accessories in the Petersham Nurseries shop.
Fiona de Lys
Interior colour specialist Fiona De Lys hosted a networking breakfast and talk about the movement of light and architectural elements within interiors at the Argile paints showroom on The Kings Road. Members were given valuable insight on how to choose the right colours for their next project.
